Detection of IgM class rheumatoid factors

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and deformity of the joints.

The FIDIS™ Rheuma is designed for the simultaneous detection of IgM class rheumatoid factors directed against Fc determinants from human or animal of IgG class Immunoglobulins.

Rheumatoid factors (RF) may be specific to human IgG or common to the IgG of various animal species. Rheumatoid factors may belong to any mmunoglobulin class, but the IgM class is dominant.
