The FIDIS™ Vasculitis is designed for the simultaneous detection of human lgG isotype autoantibodies directed against Serine Proteinase 3 (ANCA-PR3), Myeloperoxidase (ANCA-MPO) and Glomerular Basement Membrane (GBM). The detection of Anti Neutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies (ANCA) has become an useful tool in the diagnosis of Wegener’s granulomatosis (anti-PR3), Churg Strauss syndrome, microscopic periarthritis and idiopathic crescentic glomerulonephritis (anti-MPO). In addition, the measurement of anti-GBM autoantibodies is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of Goodpasture’s syndrome.
