INTRODUCTION
Neisseria meningitidis (gram-negative bacteria) may lead to meningitis, and is responsible for considerable mortality throughout the world. Most disease-causing Neisseira meningitidis strains belong to serogroups B and C in Europe, North & South America and Australia.
