ampliCube MDR Panels 1-6
Our Mikrogen ampliCube MDR Panels 1-6 are highly sensitive and flexible real-time PCR test systems for the detection of transferable resistance genes of carbapenem, ß-lactam antibiotic (ESBL) and reserve antibiotic (linezolid and vancomycin) resistance.
Detection of resistance genes is a rapid and reliable method to select the optimal antibiotic therapy for a patient. In addition, characterization of resistance genes is important for epidemiological studies. This makes it possible, for example, to react at an early stage to shifts in the existing resistance spectrum in individual medical institutions.

Advantages
- Highly sensitive detection of transmissible resistance genes:
Resistance to | Detected genes: |
Carbapenem resistance: | KPC, NDM, VIM, IMP, GIM, SPM, OXA-48-like, OXA-23-like, OXA-24/40-like, ISAba1/OXA-51-like, OXA-58-like |
ß-lactam antibiotic (ESBL) resistance: | CTX-M Group 1 (e.g. CTX-M15) and CTX-M Group 9 (e.g. CTX-M14) |
Linezolid and vancomycin resistance: | crfA/B, optrA, vanA, vanB |
- Rapid clarification of individual resistance mechanisms enables optimized antibiotic therapy
- Wide range of application: sample material can come from a culture plate with selection medium or directly from a swab
- Individual combination of each MDR panel allows personalized resistance analysis
- Compatible with common real-time PCR cyclers
- Compatible with various RNA/DNA extraction methods (e.g. MikrogenalphaClean Mag RNA/DNA Kits)
- Due to our identical cycling program for all pathogens, kits and panels can be combined according to their individual needs
Safe and reliable
High safety due to standardized use of internal control for nucleic acid extraction (RNA/DNA) and real-time PCR inhibition for each reaction
Ready-to-use
Complete PCR kits with ready-to-use reagents
High Standard
CE mark: The PCR tests meet the high standard of the EC Directive 98/79/EC for in vitro diagnostics
