Working student Bachelor-/ Master Thesis (f/m/d) Technology Transfer from Blot Assay to Line Immunoassay

We are looking for YOU! A motivated working student Bachelor-/ Master Thesis (m/f/d) in the field of in-vitro diagnostics (scope: ELISA, Blot, Line Immunoassay. in our production/R&D-department. As part of our pro-
ject team, you will help to optimize and transfer the established blot assay techniques to a line immunoassay platform. This involves method development, validation, and ensuring the seamless transition of the assay‘s performance characteristics. As a working student or thesis candidate, you will be an integral part of this project, contributing to key research and development activities.

These are your tasks:
  • Literature Review: Conduct comprehensive research on existing blot assays and line immunoassay technologies, focusing on the latest advancements and best practices

  • Method Development: Assist in developing protocols for the line immunoassay, including antigen coating, blocking, and detection strategies

  • Experimental Work: Support the hands-on laboratory work required for the project, including sample preparation, assay optimization, and performance validation

  • Data Analysis: Analyse experimental data using statistical methods, documenting results in a clear and concise manner

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all experiments, protocols, and procedures as part of the technology transfer process

  • Collaboration: Work closely with R&D team members and other departments to ensure smooth communication and project progress

  • Thesis Writing (if applicable): Prepare and submit a Master’s or Bachelor’s thesis based on the project findings, adhering to academic and company standards

What you bring with you:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor‘s or Master‘s program in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field

  • Basic understanding of immunoassays (e.g., ELISA, blot assays)

  • Experience with laboratory techniques, including pipetting, sample handling, and data analysis

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS) is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
