Test principle

1) Magnetic beads coated with antigens or antibodies bind specific antibodies (Ab) or antigens (Ag) from the patient sample.

2) Secondary antibodies coupled with an acridinium ester (AE) bind to these immune complexes.

3)  In a changed chemical environment, the acridinium ester oxidizes and emits light (chemiluminescence). The intensity is directly proportional to the concentration of the analyte and is recorded and evaluated by the device
