Mikrogen recomBead Borrelia tests are quantitative immunoassays, with recombinantly produced antigens, for the detection of human antibodies against single, diagnostically relevant Borrelia antigens. They allow a flexible combination of the advantages of ELISA and confirmatory testing on one plate. Simultaneous, separate detection of individual antigen-specific antibodies make classification into early and late phase of Borrelia infection possible.
