recomWell Chlamydia trachomatis
Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of IgG and IgA antibodies
against Chlamydia trachomatis in human serum or plasma
against Chlamydia trachomatis in human serum or plasma

The recomWell Chlamydia trachomatis tests are qualitative and quantitative enzyme immunoassays for the detection of antibodies of the classes IgG and IgA against recombinantly produced Chlamydia trachomatis antigens. By using the new specific antigens TARP and CPAF as well as the proven Momp, cross-reactivity with C. pneumoniae is significantly reduced.

Advantages
- High sensitivity due to the use of recombinantly produced antigens: TARP, CPAF and Momp
- Excellent discrimination between negative and positive results
- Optimized use for the diagnosis of fertility disorders caused by Chlamydia trachomatis-related tubal occlusion
- 3-fold increase in IgA sensitivity compared to gold standard MIF with same specificity in IgG/ IgA and same sensitivity in IgG
- Shortening of the diagnostic window for PCR
- Separate detection of IgG and IgA antibodies possible
- Use of single strips possible
Safe and reliable
Fully automatic processing, software-based evaluation and connection to the laboratory information system possible
Flexible and compatible
Combination of all Mikrogen ELISA possible - uniform processing and interchangeable reagents
