The Mikrogen recomWell HEV tests are qualitative and quantitative enzyme immunoassays for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies against recombinant antigens of HEV genotypes 1 and 3. The other two HEV genotypes 2 and 4 are detected by cross-reactivity. Thus, the recomWell HEV tests are ideally suited as screening tests, especially in case of negative hepatitis A-C results.
