T-Track® TB

Mikrogen T-Track® TB is a screening-grade, qualitative diagnostic test for the determination of TB-specific T-cell reactivity. Based on a patented procedure, the RT-qPCR assay supports the diagnosis of M. tuberculosis infection (including active disease). Differences in the expression of classification markers in stimulated and unstimulated blood samples can provide evidence of TB infection. Results must be interpreted in the context of all relevant clinical and laboratory diagnostic data.
The T-Track® TB Assay includes two diagnostic kits:
1. T-Track® TB Stimulation: stimulation of TB-specific immune cells by incubation of blood samples with TB antigens and subsequent stabilization of RNA.
2. T-Track® TB Quant PCR: Measurement of the expression of specific classification markers by reverse transcription and quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR). Software-based evaluation.

Advantages
- Supports the diagnosis of TB infection (incl. active disease)
- Innovative multiplex PCR (screening) - Highly sensitive, patented technology: markers also for the early phase of infection
- Unique two-marker strategy - measurement and analysis of the relative expression of the TB-specific induced markers IFNG and CXCL10 after in vitro stimulation of immune cells with the TB antigens ESAT-6 and CFP-10
- Easy handling, standardized and partially automated performance
- Software-based evaluation
