recomLine Toxoplasma
Line immunoassays for the detection of IgG, IgM and IgA antibodies
against Toxoplasma gondii in human serum or plasma
against Toxoplasma gondii in human serum or plasma
Mikrogen recomLine Toxoplasma tests are serological, qualitative in vitro line immunoassays, which optimally combine the high requirements for the special diagnostics of toxoplasmosis, among others in pregnancy, by using IgG and IgM specific recombinant antigens as well as 4 different avidity antigens to define the infection phases.
Products
Advantages
- Simple and meaningful avidity determination possible
- Band pattern and avidity determination allow conclusions to be drawn about infection status
- Precise information about the time of infection
- Separate detection of IgG, IgM and IgA antibodies
- Easy and clear interpretation due to easy-to-read banding
- No automation required and particularly suitable for small laboratories with low sample throughput capacity
- Partial and full automation, software-based evaluation (recomScan) and integration with laboratory information system possible
- Highest sensitivity and specificity due to the use of different, recombinant antigens:
| Antigen | Origin |
| ROP1c | Tachyzoite and bradyzoite antigens |
| MIC3 | Tachyzoiten antigens |
| GRA7 | Tachyzoite and bradyzoite antigens |
| GRA8 | Tachyzoite and bradyzoite antigens |
| p30 | Tachyzoiten antigens |
| MAG1 | Tachyzoiten antigens |
| GRA1 | Tachyzoite and bradyzoite antigens |
| rSAG1 | Tachyzoiten antigens |
Safe and reliable
Validity check by integrated, strip-specific cutoff and antibody class controls
Flexible and compatible
Combination of all Mikrogen line immunoassays possible - uniform processing and interchangeable reagents
