MAGPIX® Analyzer

A milestone in immunodiagnostics. Ideally suited for high sample throughput.

Luminex® XMAP® technology works with microscopically small polystyrene beads, so-called microspheres or beads. Up to 100 different bead populations are available, which are distinguishable through their color coding. In addition to the classic MicroPlex beads, Mikrogen offers a new generation of polystyrene beads with an iron core (MagPlex®).

The MAGPIX®  automated analyzer uses Magnetic beads (MagPlex®), allowing for better automation. A CCD camera captures the magnetically fixed beads two-dimensionally in the red and green light spectrum. MAGPIX® is a compact, robust system with short start-up and shut-down protocols
